Camp Shiloh is a Christian Retreat Center in Northern New Jersey.

We’re uniquely purposed to serve groups both large & small for overnight stays or day trips. Our facilities offer fully equipped meeting rooms, comfortable lodging, delicious home cooked meals, a full gymnasium, athletic fields, a camp fire pit, game room, and much more.

Shiloh is an excellent place for your group to grow both individually and as a team. The word ‘shiloh’ means “place of peace” and with our beautiful landscape of ponds, streams, & mountains we’re able to offer a peaceful place for rest & renewal.

Our History

Jon Frank, founder and director of Camp Shiloh, was born into a dysfunctional family with two alcoholic parents. By the age of 18 he had become an alcoholic, had joined a motorcycle gang and had a black belt in karate with a reputation for hurting people.

In the summer of 1972, Jon has planned to run his motorcycle into an 18-wheeler truck and end his life through suicide. While Jon was on the on the side of the road preparing to end his life, a local carpenter pulled over and began sharing about Jesus. Jon spent a lot of time with Bob and his family that summer. They continued to share and show him the love of Jesus. At the end of the summer they invited him to church where he made a decision to become a Christian.

After that summer, Bob helped Jon get into rehab, go to college and get a job. Jon asked Bob how he could pay him back for all that he had done for him. Bob said ‘do for others what we did for you’. Jon began by volunteering at a local church youth group and helping teens with challenging situations. In 1986, Jon and his wife Sandy left their jobs, sold their home, and started Shiloh Bible Camp.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the scripture of the Old and New Testament as verbal inspired by God,
inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe in one God, eternally exciting in three persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.

We believe that man was created in the image of God;
that he sinned and there by incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures,
as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice;
and that those that believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven,
and in his present life here for us, as high priest and advocate.

We believe in that ‘blessed hope’, the personal, pre millennial and imminent return
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit
and there by become children of God.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust,
the everlasting blessedness of the saved
and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
